    Gemmotherapy comes from the Latin word “gemmae,” which refers both to a gemstone and to a bud. It is well known that new trees grow from cuttings. Trees have an extraordinary capacity for renewal. Using buds taps into this regenerative power. However, each tree has a specific action on the human body. Gemmotherapy, also called “bud medicine,” is a type of phytotherapy. Plant usage distinguishes phytotherapy from gemmotherapy. Gemmotherapy uses the embryonic part of a plant.

Vitaminized smoothie recipe

Let's get together for our “Special Recipe” series! In this article, our mixologist has concocted a super-vitamin smoothie just for you!

In a shaker, place:

- 60ml fresh kiwi juice
- 60ml fresh carrot juice
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon agave syrup
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 1 drop Galeo orange essential oil

Shake well and you're ready to go!

What are the benefits of this smoothie?

Carrots are rich in vitamin B and vitamin B6, while kiwifruit is rich in vitamin C. These two foods are the ideal cocktail for filling up on vitamins! Lemon and cinnamon are also excellent antioxidants. Orange essential oil adds a fresh taste to the smoothie!
